Matar Pulao / Peas Pulao

A simple aromatic Matar pulao goes well with a Yoghurt Raita or a nice veg curry like Veg Korma , paneer butter masala, Non-veg gravy.

A simple aromatic Matar pulao goes well with a Yoghurt Raita or a nice veg curry like Veg Korma , paneer butter masala, Non-veg gravy.
Cooking Instructions

Add ghee to the hot Cooker pan. Throw in cumins,cloves,cinnamon, cardamom bay leaf.

Once they start to splutter add Onion,green chillies,grated ginger and saute.Add cashews and saute until they turn golden brown in colour.

Add Cashew paste and give it a nice stir. Cook in a medium low flame.

Now add Matar,stir well and cook for about 2 minutes.

To the matar add soaked rice, stir them and cook for one minute.

Now add water,lemon juice, garam masala, required salt. Give everything a good stir and pressure cook for one whistle.

Garnish with some Coriander and mint leaves. Done!!!
