Ingredients

7-8 minutes
5-6 servings
  1. 1.5 cupoats powder
  2. 1/2 cupsemolina
  3. 3/4 cupcurd
  4. 1/2 cupfinely chopped onion
  5. 1/4 cupchopped carrots
  6. 1/4 cupchopped beet root
  7. 1/4 cupchopped capsicum
  8. 1/4 cupchopped tomatoes
  9. 1 inchfinely chopped ginger
  10. 3-4finely chopped green chilli
  11. Salt as required
  12. Water as required
  13. Oil for brushing the ape pan
  14. For tampering :
  15. 1 tspoil
  16. 1 tsppunch phoran
  17. leavesSome curry
  18. 3-4green chilli chopped

Steps

7-8 minutes
  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients for making the batter of ape (oats powder, semolina, salt, curd, vegetables, water).

  2. 2

    Rest it for 10 minutes

  3. 3

    In the meantime prepare the tadka.

  4. 4

    Heat a wok with oil and add punch phoran in it.

  5. 5

    When the mustard in the punch phoran crackle then add the chopped green chilli and curry leaves in it and switch off the flame.

  6. 6

    Brush the ape pan with oil and pour the batter in them and over it add some tadka and cover the lid for sometimes.

  7. 7

    Cook both the sides till they become golden brown in colour in low flame.

  8. 8

    Now your mixed vegetables tadka oats apes are ready.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with any ketchup.
