Egg-Chicken Chowmein

Cooking Instructions

Boil the noodles in water with salt and 1 tsp oil.

Drain the water and wash the noodles with cold water. Keep aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan. Add the chicken cubes with little salt and fry for 5-6 minutes. Remove and keep it aside.

In the same pan add 1tbsp oil to heat. Beat the eggs into it with a pinch of salt. Fry for 2-3 minutes and keep aside.

Now in another pan heat remaining oil. Add chopped garlic, green chilli and saute for a minute.

Next add sliced onion, capsicum, carrot, beans, cabbage and salt. Fry it for 4 minutes in high flame.

Now add the fried chicken and scrambled egg. Cook for a while.

Next add boiled noodles. Add all the sauces with vinegar and mix with the noodles. Add black pepper powder and mix it well in high flame.

Turn off the flame and serve Egg- Chicken Chowmein hot with some ketchup/red chilli sauce.

Chicken Chow Mein Chicken Chow Mein
I have been making this for years. But I used to buy the chow Mein packet mix. I thought 'how hard could it be to make it myself?'. The answer is 'really easy!'. It's basically oyster & soy sauce, ground cumin & coriander, throw in some chicken and veggies of your choice and some noodles. That's about it! So nice and a good way to get rid of those veggies that need to be used. Ground beef instead of chicken pieces works well too. Enjoy! 😀 ChrisO505 -
