Take fish pieces, add salt and turmeric powder gently marinate with them, keep it aside.

Now heat oil in a pan, fry the fish pieces and separately fry the potatoes and keep it aside.

Add cumin seeds in the remain oil and tomatoes saute for a minute, add chilli paste, turmeric powder, cumin powder and salt cook it for 1 minute in a low flame.

Add fried potatoes stir well, add water and cook 4 to 5 minutes, after 5 minutes add fried fish pieces cook for 3 to 4 minutes, now Rui Macher jhol is ready.
