Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 4-6 cupsleft over rice
  2. 1/2 cuplemon juice
  3. 3 tbspvegetable oil
  4. 2 tbspmixture of chana dal, mung dal, ground nuts
  5. 1 tbspturmeric
  6. 2 tbspmustard seeds
  7. 6-9methi seeds
  8. 10-15curry leaves
  9. pinchhing
  10. 3-4red dried chillies
  11. As per Tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oil in a non stick pan.

  2. 2

    Add dal mixture and fry it for 2-3 mins.

  3. 3

    Then add mustard seeds, red chillies, methi seeds, curry leaves, hing little bit, turmeric powder.

  4. 4

    Now add the left over rice quickly, salt and lemon juice.Mix it properly. And there you go. Lemon rice is ready. you can have aloo matar too curry as your side dish.
