Ingredients

  1. 100 grm whole mung dal
  2. 1 cupchickpeas and kidney beans
  3. 1fistful Bengal gram
  4. 1 tspfenugreek seeds
  5. 1 tbspginger garlic paste
  6. 2onion chopped
  7. 1tomato chopped
  8. 1.5 tbspcumin coriander powder
  9. 1 tspchana masala powder
  10. 2 tspred chilli powder
  11. 2 tbspbutter
  12. To tastesalt and sugar
  13. As neededoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Wash and soak the dal for 7-8 hrs

  2. 2

    Now pressure cook it with salt and turmeric powder

  3. 3

    Heat oil and temper fenugreek seeds

  4. 4

    Add ginger garlic paste saute until the raw smell disappears

  5. 5

    Add onion chopped and saute

  6. 6

    Add cumin coriander powder and red chilli powder and mix well

  7. 7

    Add salt, turmeric powder and chana masala,mix the boiled Dal
    Bring it to boil, cook for 5/6 mint then switch off the flame
