Colocasia is tropical plant which is also known as Taro, Arbi . It is also known as the Elephant ear as it's leaves shape resemble the ear of elephant. Arbi leaves are known as patra, patervelia & pandada in Gujarati. Majorly arbi leaves are made with gram flour spiced paste steamed & then it can be fried. Can be made with tamarind jaggery gravy called raspatra.
Today, I made it in different way, finely chopped it and made steamed muthiya.

Mix both flours, turmeric powder, oil, sugar, salt and mix well. Now mix chilli paste and chopped leaves separately,put cooking soda over it and pour lemon juice over it. It starts bubbling. Now mix everything well.

Now mix flourmix and leaves mix and form a soft dough like mass. Add little water as needed.

Now make small muthiya from it& cook it in steam, like dhokla.

Relish it hot with oil.
