Ingredients

  1. 1/2 kgbitter gourd (karela)
  2. 2medium sized onions chopped finely
  3. 1large tomato finely chopped
  4. 2 tbspcoriander leaves chopped
  5. 1 tspcoriander powder
  6. 1/2 tspcumin powder
  7. 1 tspred chilli powder
  8. 1 tbsplime juice
  9. as per tasteSalt
  10. as requiredOil for frying

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and scrape the bitter gourd. Slit it length wise remove the seeds.

    Boil some water with little salt. Soak the bitter gourd for 10 mins. Then remove it and squeeze out the water slowly.

  3. 3

    Heat oil in a frying pan and shallow fry the stuffed karela till done. Before serving remove the rolled thread.
