Ingredients

  1. 1medium sized gourd
  2. 4medium sized tomatoes (puree)
  3. 2chopped onions
  4. To tasteSalt
  5. as neededOil for frying koftas
  6. 1 tspCumin
  7. 1.5 tspRed chilli powder
  8. 2 tspDhaniya powder
  9. 1 tspGaram masala
  10. 1 tspTurmeric powder
  11. 1 cupBesan
  12. 1 tspaamchur powder
  13. as requiredCoriander leaves for garnishing

Cooking Instructions

    For making koftas:Peel and grate gourd.Now,take a wok and pour oil into it for frying koftas.Take a bowl add grated gourd,besan,salt,red chilli as per taste and dash of water to make koftas.Make koftas and fried them till become golden.

    Take another wok.put 1tbsp oil and cumin seeds.now,add onion and fried till become transparent.

    Add tomato puree and fried till it leaves oil.Now add turmeric,red chilli powder,aamchur, dhaniya powder,garam masala and salt into it and stir them.

    Add 1 cup of water and as per requirement for the gravy,stir it well.Add koftas into it and boil them for 5-7 mins. On low flame.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve them with chapattis,naan or parantha etc.
