  1. 250 gmsRajma
  2. 2onions finely chopped
  3. 3tomatoes
  4. 1/2 inchginger
  5. 6-7garlic cloves
  6. 1 tspred chilli powder
  7. 1/2 tspgram masala
  8. 1/4 tspkashmiri chilli powder
  9. 1/4 tsphaldi powder
  10. as requiredCoriander finely chopped
  11. 2 tspghee

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak rajma overnight. Morning drain water and wash again and add water and pressure cook it till it is soft.

    For Masala: In a kadhai take 2 tbsp oil, add finely chopped onions and saute till colour changes. In a grinder add tomatoes, ginger and garlic and make a puree. When onions are cooked add Kashmiri chilli powder, red chilli powder, haldi powder and then the tomato puree and let it cook till oil separates.

    Then add the boiled rajma and little water if required to make gravy. Let it cook for around 10 mins. Lastly, add garam masala and fresh coriander for garnishing. Add 2tsp ghee and serve hot with rice or roti.
