Bhindi masala (Ladyfinger dry curry)

Ingredients

  1. 500 glady finger
  2. 1 tspcumin seed
  3. 1medium red chopped onion
  4. 1 inchchopped ginger
  5. 1green chilli chopped
  6. 2medium tomatoes chopped
  7. 1 tspcoriander powder
  8. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  9. 1 tspchilli powder
  10. Lime juice
  11. Salt

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and pat dry lady finger with a paper towel and then chop it into 1 inch round pieces.

    Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a pan on medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped bhindi to the pan. Let is cook for 10 mins to remove sliminess. Remove the bhindi aside.

    In the same pan add bit of oil, add cumin seeds and let them sizzle for few seconds.
    Add chopped onion and saute for 2 to 3 minutes until soft.

    Then add the ginger and green chilli.
    Add chopped tomatoes cook until its soft.

    Add coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder and salt. Mix the spices well.
    Add a little bit of water to prevent from burning.

    Add the cooked bhindi to the pan cook for another 5 mins. Enjoy
