Ingredients

  1. 2 cupswhole wheat flour
  2. 2 tbspoil as moin
  3. to tasteSalt
  4. 2 tspGarlic red chilli paste
  5. 1 cupChopped green fenugreek
  6. 2 tspRed chilli powder
  7. 1/4 tspAsafoetida
  8. 1/2 tspTurmeric powder
  9. 1 tspCoriander powder
  10. 1 tspCarrom seeds
  11. as neededWater
  12. as neededOil to make theplas

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Take flour in a pan. Add oil, chopped Methi and all spices listed above.

    Add water little at a time and knead soft dough.

  3. 3

    Take small portion from dough. Roll out into a thin thepla.

  4. 4

    Put on hot tawa. Roast one side. Turn and roast on another side. Apply oil and cook on both the sides

    Make all theplas this way. Serve with chutey, aachar and potato sabji..
