Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cupmethi finely chopped
  2. 3/4 cup curd
  3. 1 1/2 tbsp besan
  4. 1 1/2 tspchilli ginger garlic paste
  5. 1 tspsugar
  6. 1 tspmustard seeds
  7. 1/2 tspcumin seeds
  8. 1 tspcoriander seeds powder
  9. 1/2 tspcumin seed powder
  10. 1/4 tspTurmeric powder
  11. 1 1/2 tspsalt (as required)
  12. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  13. 1/4 tspasafoetida
  14. 1 tbspoil
  15. 1 1/4 cupwater

Cooking Instructions

    Take curd in bowl. Add gram flour, salt, sugar. Mix well. Add 1 cup water and whisk well until it form smooth paste without lumps. Keep aside.

    Heat the oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds. When it started splutter add asafoetida, ginger garlic chilli paste. Stir well.

    Add turmeric powder, coriander seed powder,cumin seed powder and red chilli powder. Stir well.

    Add finely chopped methi and sauté. Add 1/4 cup water cover and cook well.

  5. 5

    Now add curd mixture. Mix well and bring it to simmer. As it is simmers gravy becomes thick.

    Stir it again and it is ready to serve. Serve it with bajra rori, jawar roti, chapati or rice.
