Ingredients

  1. 250 gall purpose flour
  2. 1 tspbaking powder
  3. 250 gbutter
  4. 200 gsugar
  5. 4eggs
  6. Freshly squeezed orange juice from half an orange plus zest
  7. 100 gsprinkles

Cooking Instructions

    Grease the baking tin or line it with parchment paper. Preheat oven at 180°c.

    Mix flour with baking powder.

    In a large bowl put half the flour and all the butter. Mix using a spatula or a mixer until pale in colour. Set aside.

    In a smaller bowl, pour in the sugar and eggs. Mix using a whisk or mixer until pale and foamy.

    Pour the left over flour and eggs mix into the butter- flour mix. Alternating and mixing until well mixed.

    Add in the orange juice and zest, mix until well mixed.

    Add in the sprinkles and mix until well mixed.

    Pour the mixture into the baking tin

    Put in oven and bake for an hour or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

    Remove from baking tin and place on a cooling rack to cool.
