Ingredients

  1. 1/2 cup basmati rice
  2. 1small potato
  3. 1small onion
  4. 1small capsicum
  5. 1small carrot
  6. 1/4 cupgreen peas
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1bay leaf
  9. 2 tbspGhee
  10. 1 glassWater

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Wash rice properly and soak for 15 mins.

    Chop all the veggies.

  3. 3

    Take pan. Heat ghee. Add bay leaf.

  4. 4

    Add in all the veggies. Saute on slow flame for 3-5 mins.

  5. 5

    Add soaked rice and saute for 2-3 mins. Now add a glass of water. Cook untill rice are done.

    Serve vegetable rice with kadhi and papad.
