Succotash Batch 3 Succotash Batch 3
An awesome dish by Native Americans. Living off beans and rice, has been the way of life since man was created. Probably will still be here long after we have departed. There is carbs in beans, onions, and corn. There isn't no fat a lot of people use lard to add to their beans. This prevents malnutrition and malnourishment. 20% of our diet has to be fat of some type or we can die. So this is why I added olive oil and duck fat. Back in the day it was near grease, I don't have any. skunkmonkey101 -

~Shamrock's~ 3 Bean Chili ~Shamrock's~ 3 Bean Chili
This chili recipe is modeled after the first chili I ever loved -- The Mercury (The "Merc") Tavern in Bensalem, PA (now Curran's Irish Inn). It was always my measuring stick for good chili.I was able to perfect the recipe while working as the cook at Knights Tavern in the 90's.Because of making it for "the masses" I don't know how to make less than huge quantities. So feel free to adjust the quantities to meet your smaller crowd needs. Or just make it like it is here -- it freezes wonderfully and you're gonna want to have more later! This recipe won the Amtrak Contact Center Chili Cookoff 3 years in a row...until they cancelled the cookoff because they were tired of having the same winner each year. o.OEnjoy this and leave a note if you have any questions or just want to tell how it worked for you. 🍀Shamrock 🍀 -

I had never made chili before so I found an easy recipe, tweaked it a little bit to satisfy my family’s taste. This recipe makes very mild chili. Add your own kick to your chili and let me know what you think in the reviews. Stephanie B -
