This delicious pakoras are specially made during rainy day in every Gujarati kitchens. Made from pearl millet ( bajri flour), wheat flour ( to add it for softness- tip shared by Author Leena Mehta Ji), fenugreek leaves and spices .
Like other pakoras..this also made instantly..and relishing with hot tea or coffee is more scrumptious.

Ingredients

  1. 1 cuppearl millet (bajri)flour
  2. 1/2 cupwheat flour
  3. 2 tbspfinely chopped fresh fenugreek leaves
  4. 2 tbspfinely chopped onion
  5. 1 tbspgreen chillies ginger paste
  6. 1/2 tsppeppercorns (Mari) powder
  7. to tasteSalt
  8. 1/4 tspsoda bi carb
  9. As required Oil for frying
  10. As per taste Coriander Chutney,hot tea/ coffee to serve with pakoras

Cooking Instructions

    In mixing bowl add both flours, chopped onion and fenugreek leaves, green chillies ginger paste, peppercorns powder and salt, add enough water to make pakoras batter.

    Heat oil for frying. Add soda bi carb in prepared batter and mix well. Take little little portion from prepared batter and drop gently in hot oil, few at a time. Deep fry on medium flame till crispy golden.

    Serve/ Relish Hot Delicious Pearl Millet Pakoras with hot tea/coffee.
