Ingredients

25 portions
  1. 2 cupspearl millet flour
  2. 2 cupswheat flour
  3. 3level tea spoons baking powder
  4. 3table spoons of sugar
  5. water
  6. 1 pinchSalt
  7. Sufficient cooking oil

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Mix the pearl millet, wheat flour, baking powder, sugar and salt

  2. 2

    Add water gradually and knead to soft dough

  3. 3

    Add the oil and knead further

  4. 4

    Allow to rest for 30 min

  5. 5

    Roll out 1cm thickness and cut into desireable shapes and sizes

  6. 6

    Deep fry to golden Brown

  7. 7

    Serve with a hot/cold beverage
