Ingredients

  1. 400 gflour
  2. 8 gsalt
  3. 4 gfresh yeast
  4. 300 mlwarm water
  5. 60 golive oil

Cooking Instructions

    Mix salt and flour in one bowl. Melt the yeast in the warm water in another bowl. Add the flour mix to the yeast mix and with a wooden spoon mix until it becomes a sticky mixture.

    In another bigger bowl add half of the oil and add the dough to it. Cover it for 1 hour. After 1 hour fold the dough 2 times and cover again. Repeat this process another 3-4 times until doubled in size. Add the other half of the oil bit by bit all the time you do the folding stage.

    Cover the working surface with flour split the dough in 4 and stretch every single piece to the shape of a ciabatta bread. Make sure you don't break the air bubbles in this process.

    Cook for 15 min in a preheated oven at 240 degrees.

Hey, I made this and it is really good, but mine didn’t turn out as fluffy as in the pics—really dense. Anything in particular you’d recommend for improving that — I let it rise for only 3 hours, maybe I should have gone to 4?
