Cooking Instructions
- 1
Place the water, milk, sugar and vegetable oil in a jug and warm up to a lukewarm temperature. Add the yeast and leave for about 10 minutes to activate. In a bowl, combine your flour with the salt and slowly add the yeast mixture. Once well combined, move to the worktop and knead to absorb all flour and form a smooth ball. Oil lightly your bowl and replace the dough to raise for a minimum of 30 minutes or until double in size.
- 2
Once the dough has raised, divide in 10 parts and shape as in picture. Place on lined baking trays and let rise for a second time. Pre-heat your oven at 210 C. Once the braids rested for 30 minutes, wash with milk and sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake until nice and golden and they sound hollow if tapping their bottom.

Sweet Potato Tart Sweet Potato Tart
I like sweet potatoes and I've been making pies with them often. One day, I thought that a tart might be good and came up with this. When you are baking the crust, watch as you bake as it may burn depending on your oven. I think you can prevent it from burning if you cover it with aluminum foil after some time in the oven. The sweet potato will become hard if you overcook it, so please be paying attention as you microwave it. You do not need to mash it thoroughly. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Milk Bread Topped with Sugar Milk Bread Topped with Sugar
I really enjoy making bread nowadays. I adjusted the flour amount for this recipe to suit our house oven, which the baking sheet is 30 cm square long The rolls will be soft when you make them with water, and will have a richer flavor when you make them with milk. I was wondering which one to use, but I used milk this time. I sometimes add something like heavy cream to the ingredients and try few other things too.The time for proofing and how long to let the dough sit is just a guide, so check on how the dough is and adjust. The butter for the topping is optional It's already delicious even without butter. I omitted the butter this time because I'm on a diet. For 8 pieces. Recipe by Lesser Panda cookpad.japan
