Salad should be a synonym to healthy but it doesn't happen. The salads that we get outside are loaded with heavy and oily dressings with lots of sodium and preservatives. And also the vegetables used in them are cut well in advance to speed up the process. Hence the healthiness of these salads are highly questionable.

The best salads are simple, home made and fresh.

One such recipe is the black chana salad. High in protein and minerals and vitamins.

Very easy to make and highly filling.
