  2. 2Onions, medium size (grated)
  3. 1 inchGinger, roughly chopped
  4. 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  5. 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  6. 1 tspCoriander Powder
  7. as per tasteSalt
  8. 1 tbspWhole Coriander Seeds, roasted and roughly crushed
  9. 1 cupGram Flour (Besan)
  10. 2 tbspDry Fenugreek Leaves/ Fresh Leaves, chopped
  11. 3-4 tbspFresh Coriander Leaves, chopped
  12. 1/4 cupButtermilk or Homemade Curd
  13. as requiredOil for Frying the fritters
  14. For making Curry Mixture
  15. 1 cupHomemade Curd/ Thick Buttermilk
  16. 2 tbspGram Flour (Besan)
  17. 1 tspTurmeric Powder
  18. as per tasteSalt
  19. 1 cupWater
  20. For tempering the Curry
  21. 2 tbspOil
  22. 2 tbspClarified Butter (Ghee)
  23. 2 tspCumin Seeds
  24. 1 inchGinger, roughly chopped
  25. 8-10Garlic Cloves, roughly chopped
  26. 2Whole Red Chillies
  27. 1 tbspWhole Coriander Seeds, roasted and roughly crushed
  28. 2Onions, medium size roughly chopped
  29. 1 tspRed Chilli Powder
  30. 1 tspCoriander Powder
  31. 2Tomatoes, chopped

Cooking Instructions

    To make fritters take grated onion, chopped ginger and turmeric powder in a bowl.

    Add red chilli powder, coriander powder and salt as per taste.

  3. 3

    Add gram flour (Besan), crush roasted coriander seeds with hands and add, add fresh / dry fenugreek leaves.

    Add chopped fresh coriander, curd and mix the batter to make the fritters.

  5. 5

    In a frying pan put oil to heat. Make small fritters using hands and fry them. Take them out and let the excess oil come out.

    Fry the fritters again and you are good to go to add them in your curry.

    To make curry mixture, in a bowl add curd, gram flour (Besan) and turmeric powder.

    Add salt, water and mix it well. Your mixture is ready.

    Now for temporary the curry, in a pan add oil, clarified butter (ghee), one it comes to hear add cumin seeds and chopped ginger.

    Add chopped garlic and whole red chilles, saute.

    Add chopped onions, red chilli powder, coriander powder and saute for 2-3 minutes.

    Add chopped tomatoes and saute for about 2 minutes. Add the above prepared curry mixture and cook for 5-7 minutes.

    Transfer it to serving bowl, add the curry, add fritters, fresh coriander and serve.

    Tasty Fritters Yogurt Curry is ready to serve. Serve with steamed rice, or paratha, or chapati.
