Mongolian Beef for Two Mongolian Beef for Two
Sometimes it's just the Hubbalicious and me, which is why I have these occasional recipes for two. This recipe is easily doubled, but you'll still want to stir fry in smaller batches to get the best result (as is generally the case for stir-frying on a regular home stove rather than commercial stove - you want as high a heat as you can get and too-big batches of ingredients dilute the heat too much for optimal stir-frying).For example, if you double the recipe, do the beef in four equal batches, and the veg in two batches. It'll still be good if you're in a hurry and you cook all the veg at once and all the beef at once, but it'll be even better if you do it the other way. :) x -

Chicken and rice bowl Chicken and rice bowl
You can never have too many one pan dinners in your repertoire. Obviously, they're easier to clean up, which is great if your family is like ours and you don't have a dishwasher. They're also usually easier to whip up in the first place, which makes them ideal for busy weeknights. This chicken and rice is a perfect example of such a dish. It comes together in about 15 minutes (20 if you include the prep). It cooks in one pan and is a meal all on its own. And, most important of all, it's delicious. Robert Gonzal -

California Farm Sliced Beef Aspic California Farm Sliced Beef Aspic
Beef is flavorful but expensive, this old farm recipe extracts the flavor from sliced beef and carrot spears into broth, condenses it and then uses the broth and the beef to make a solid aspic meatloaf. Doubles the weight of this meat dish. Traditionally, pickle spears are also added to the carrots and the sliced beef to flavor the aspic.#GlobalApron Hobby Horseman -
Chinese-Filipino Tomato Chicken (Kamatis Kway) Chinese-Filipino Tomato Chicken (Kamatis Kway)
My husband’s family is Chinese-Filipino. This is a dish that his aunt taught me to make, and which is inspired by both Chinese and Filipino-style cooking. There is a braised tomato and chicken Filipino dish called Afritada which is a little similar to this dish in concept and overall cooking style, but which has different ingredients, including potatos and carrots.Tomato Chicken is a favorite of the children in the family, but the adults love it too, of course. I really like this dish because it comes together so quickly, the chicken stays wonderfully moist, and it is incredibly flavorful!#Comfort Food #Dinner #KeepRecipesAlive Chris Gan
