The tarka is a soul of this daal make it and tell me how its turned out..
Cooking Instructions

Wash and soak the daal in water for about 30 minutes

Now cook the daal with onion slices, tomatoes chopped, turmeric powder, chilli powder, crushed Corridor, salt with some water. Till the daal tender completely

When the daal done now adjust the salt. cook for 5 minute more and using wooden spoon so smashed the daal and tomatoes completely

Now add fresh coriander leaves, garam masala, green chillies on daal.. Now leave it a side

Now make a tarka
In a frying pan add butter or ghee heat it add Cumin seeds, Button chillies, ajwain, finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies - 6
When ginger garlic become golden pour the tarka on top of daal. Cover the lid for about 10 minutes

Tadda... Its done eat with garma garam chapati or naan
