Ingredients

  1. 9egg yolks
  2. 150 gfresh Musang king durian flesh pureed
  3. 75 gcoconut oil
  4. 150 mlcoconut milk
  5. 187.5 gplain flour
  6. 1 1/2 tspbaking powder
  7. 9egg whites
  8. 1 tspcream of tartar
  9. 15 mlfresh milk
  10. 195 gcaster sugar

    Mix egg yolk and fresh durian flesh until well combine.

    Stir the coconut oil, milk and coconut milk together then add the egg yolk mixture together. Combine well.

    Sift the flour and baking powder and add into the egg yolk mixture. Mix well till smooth and set aside.

    Whisk egg whites, cream of tartar and sugar until stiff peak form.

    Use hand and spatula to fold the egg white into egg yolks mixture.

    Pour into a chiffon tin

    Preheat oven and bake at 150 º C for 45 minutes or until cook through.

    After the cake is baked allow cake to cool completely before removing the cake from the mould (about 2 hours).

    Serve and enjoy the cake.
