Aloo walay Parathay

When weather is rainy, why not have some aloo parathas 😎 Here is a very easy to go recipe for aloo parathas to enjoy with mint raita.
Aloo ka paratha is basically well known all over Pakistan and India. But it’s origin comes from Punjab! Back in Punjab it was introduced as a breakfast dish 😋
Well be it breakfast or lunch, aloo ka paratha with raita is my favourite 😍
Cooking Instructions

Boil potatoes, cool at room temperature and remove the skin. Roughly grind the pomegranate seeds.

Then add the potatoes, all the spices and finely chopped green chilllies, coriander and onion in a big mixing bowl.

Then mash them into a fine smooth dough. Keep aside.

Now make small balls out of dough. flat down 2 small balls and put the potato mixture onto one of them.

Spread it all over the dough and cover it with the other layer. Now with the help of a fork, seal the corners and flatten it a bit more with the rolling pin.

Now put it on the hot tawa and cook from both sides, spread some desi ghee on both sides and cook till the paratha turns crispy golden.

Top with butter if you like, serve with mint raita and enjoy.
