Ingredients

6-8 servings
  1. 4 tbspOil
  2. 1Chopped onion
  3. 1Chopped green pepper
  4. 400 mlVegetable stock
  5. 1 tspTurmeric
  6. 1 tspSalt
  7. 1 tspGround black pepper
  8. 1 tspSmoked paprika
  9. 0.5Cabbage shredded
  10. 7Medium potatoes cut into quarters

Cooking Instructions

    In a large pot brown the onion and green pepper.

  2. 2

    Now add the stock, Turmeric, salt, pepper, paprika, potatoes and cabbage.

  3. 3

    Cook on a medium heat for 50-60 minutes. Stirring every 4-6 minutes. The dish is ready when the potatoes turned into mash. It's ok if there are a few small pieces of potato left.

My mother used to make this when I was a child and she used to put crumbled bacon pieces through it also just gave it abit of a omph. I had forgotten about this recipe thanks for the lovely reminder I’m going to see how my lot take to it. Yummmo
