  1. 1 cupRava
  2. 1 cupCurd
  3. 1/4 cupWater
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. as per taste Eno fruit salt
  6. 1 tspOil
  7. 1/2 tspMustard seed
  8. 1small Green chilli
  9. 1 cupTamarind water
  10. 2 tbspSugar
  11. 4-5 leavesCurry
  12. 1 tspleaves Coriander

Cooking Instructions

    Mix rava, curd, water and salt in one bowl and beat until smooth. Make sure that there are no lumps. Let it set 15-20 minutes.

    Add approx 1 large glass water in steamer and heat it over medium flame. Grease its tray wit 1 tsp oil. Add eno fruit salt in batter.

    Mix well until it start to bubble on surface make sure not to over mix.

    Pour it immediately into a grease tray until its half capacity and place its steamer. Steam it for 3 minutes over high flame and then 12 minutes over medium flame.

    After 15 minutes insert knife or toothpick in it and check if it come out clean. If it does, then it is ready. If not, then steam it 2-3 minutes more.

    Take out trays from steamer and let it cool for 3-4 minutes. Cut prepared suji dhokla into small square.

    Heat 1 tbsp oil in a small pan for tempering. Add mustard seed when they bengan to crackle add green chilli, curry leaves, and saute for few seconds and turn off the flame.

    Pour prepared tempering over rava dhokla and granish them with chopped coriander leaves.
