Cooking Instructions
- 1
Put asparagus into boiled water for a minuite to lightly boil.
If you boil it too much, you lose texture of fresh asparagus, so it's the most important part.
- 2
Sautee asparagus on a pan with olive oil first. Then, add butter, and finish with soysauce.
Gently burn the skin to enjoy the flavour of soysauce & butter the best.

I received a lot of Hokkaido-grown asparagus, so I fried them together with Hokkaido potatoes! Inspired by the taste of buttered potatoes, I came up with the idea to make a simple butter and soy sauce sauté.The key is not to burn the potatoes or onions! Carefully watch while cooking. Frying in olive oil is the healthiest. Butter is added after frying to maintain its flavor. The combination of the sweetness of onions brings out the sweetness of the asparagus. XO Sauce Asparagus with Shrimp and Scallops XO Sauce Asparagus with Shrimp and Scallops
A few days ago, I went to a restaurant and bought a bottle of XO sauce to try. It's mildly spicy, not too aromatic, but still quite tasty! So, I decided to stir-fry asparagus with scallops and shrimp. The mild spiciness goes well with rice! You can adjust the amount of asparagus to your liking; I bought about 6 to 7 stalks. Asparagus is delicious, and I also love shrimp. I had some leftover baby corn in the fridge, so I added that too! 布丁愛美食🍡🍨🍳Translated from Cookpad Taiwan
