Indian Sweet Laddu Indian Sweet Laddu
This is an Indian confection that's often depicted in pictures of Hanuman and Ganesh. These are made very sweet in India, but I've decreased the amount of sugar and added a dash of rock salt to better suit a Japanese taste. For some reason, they go very well with very sweet chai.It will taste more genuine if you make your own cardamon powder by grinding whole green cardamons (shelled) with a mortar and pestle. You can get besan (gram flour) from Indian grocery stores. Apart from this dish, it is used for dishes like pakora (Indian fried vegetables). Recipe by Go-pa-ra cookpad.japan -

Nolen Gurer Mishti Doi Nolen Gurer Mishti Doi
#sweettooth Nolen Gurer Mishti Doi is another variety of Bengali Mishti Doi and can be prepared as per the availability of the jaggery. Sometimes, people add cardamom powder or dry fruits while making this yogurt. I absolutely don’t encourage adding anything that can probably destroy the aroma and taste of nolen gur. This jaggery has a smoky and aromat flavour which cannot be compromised for anything. I usually prepare this at night and keep the pots to set overnight till afternoon. This ensures setting the yogurt perfectly. With the below mentioned ingredients I have prepared 5 pots of yogurt. Deepsikha Chakraborty
