Nostalgic Smoothie

By now it’s clear that I am just addicted to red apples for my smoothies. And I have no explanation for it.

I call this smoothie nostalgic as it tastes close to ‘Supper Shake’, a Zambian commercial drink that’s typically a milky fruity blend that just gives you the best of both worlds. The smoothness, silkiness is to die for and the drink overall refreshing.

The apple and banana combination was amongst the first to be released before it would be off the market for months on end.

Long story short, every time I make this smoothie I’m reminded of that bottled deliciousness and convince myself it’s an at least healthier daily energy boost.
