Cooking Instructions

In a mixing bowl,add fennel seeds and cardamom.add 3 cup

Now in a jar,add socked fennel seeds, cardamom,and with 1/2 cup water,grind it with smooth paste.

Then add grinded paste in cotton cloth and sieve all juice from it. 2 cup of juice ready. Keep it aside.in a pan,add 2 cup sugar and 2 cup of water,stir it and dissolve sugar completely.

Then add fennel seeds juice and mix well. Cook syrup till it is thick and becomes slightly sticky.add green food colour (optional)and mix well.

Now cool down syrup slightly and add 1/8 tsp citric acid (limbu na phool)to it.and mix well.
Then cool the syrup completely and store it in a sterilized bottle. - 6
For nimbu Variyali Sarbat add 2 -3 tbsp Variyali Sarbat, lemon juice,jeera powder, Balck salt, ice cubes and mix well

Serve chilled Variyali Sarbat.
