Salmon Flakes for Bento Salmon Flakes for Bento
I've been making this recipe for a very long time. You can optionally add salt. These can keep in the fridge for 3-4 days. They also taste great if you grill them and then make the flakes. In that case, add the sake after grilling. The cooking time varies depending on your microwave, so keep your eye on them and adjust accordingly. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

I experimented to come up with this recipe for my kids' sports festival bento!Salmon filet pieces come in different sizes, so please adjust the amount of flavoring ingredients accordingly. The flavoring is on the sweet side for kids, but if you're making this for adults use less sugar and more oyster sauce.Put the salmon in the bowl at Step 4. If you add the flavoring sauce to the frying pan it may split. For 2 pieces. Recipe by Penpen mama cookpad.japan -

Fried White Flounder for Bento Fried White Flounder for Bento
When you think of bento, you think of something that's heavy with meat, but not so much of fish. So I decided to make easy-to-eat fish fries for my child. When you are cooking this for a bento, try to not cut them after frying because they tend to fall apart. Instead, cook them in smaller chunks so that they fit into the bento box.Try enjoying this with some Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce, etc. This also goes well with mentsuyu and mayonnaise.Of course, you can also eat this fresh out of the fryer. Bento & Breakfast Onigiri with Bonito Flakes and Sesame Bento & Breakfast Onigiri with Bonito Flakes and Sesame
I'm so grateful this recipe has been featured in a cookbook and received over 1,000 reviews! I often get requests for this onigiri, even though my repertoire is small. Toasted sesame oil adds a rich flavor. How this recipe was born:Shortly after I got married, I only had cold rice in the fridge, but needed to make onigiri. I thought, 'Maybe if I mix something in, it'll work?' Since then, this has become a staple onigiri in our home. どんぴんたんTranslated from Cookpad Japan -

Sasebo Burger Bento Box Sasebo Burger Bento Box
In Sasebo (Nagasaki prefecture), burgers are served for school lunch! The burgers in Sasebo differ from restaurant to restaurant, and so I made my own style of Sasebo burger. You don't have to use burger buns. I used a baguette-type bun this time.My Hirato beef off-cuts were quite fatty so I didn't use oil to sauté them here.Sasebo burgers are usually served with sweet mayonnaise and BBQ sauce but in this recipe I wanted to enjoy the flavour of the beef by itself so I just used regular mayonnaise and salt. For 1 serving. Recipe by Hanamaru ryumam cookpad.japan -
For Bento Lunch Box -- Konnyaku Kinpira For Bento Lunch Box -- Konnyaku Kinpira
My daughters love konnyaku. It's seasoned lightly, so kids can eat it. It fills up empty spaces in your bento box! The sesame flavor will stimulate your appetite.Boil the konnyaku to remove the smell. Then pan-fry to evaporate the water so that it'll soak in the seasoning well. Cook fast over high heat! Stir all the time so it doesn't burn! Recipe by Toiroiro cookpad.japan -
Sub bento box Sub bento box
Iam a little late on the bento train for my kids. But we still enjoy them. I found these cute tasty bento boxes that hold a phone, i got them for an amusement park trip for a snack box when traveling, before i got the viral snackle boxes , we don’t use the tasty containers that much .However my food prep / bento containers we use constantly mainly because it a combo box with 90 pieces and can prep lunches with them for the week.I like how the yogurt tube fits in the tasty container .
