From Canada: Maple Salmon Bake for Bento

I made a bento with regional ingredients and seasonings. Salmon and maple syrup are food specialties of Canada and I wanted to use them in a Japanese/Canadian themed bento.
It's a little on the sweet side to really bring out the maple flavour. Adjust to your liking. For 1 serving. Recipe by saki1010

I've been making this recipe for a very long time. You can optionally add salt. These can keep in the fridge for 3-4 days. They also taste great if you grill them and then make the flakes. In that case, add the sake after grilling. The cooking time varies depending on your microwave, so keep your eye on them and adjust accordingly. Recipe by Yuuyuu0221 cookpad.japan -

Fish Sausage Piccata for your Bento Fish Sausage Piccata for your Bento
Pork piccata tastes great but it's always a worry as to whether it's cooked properly. With fish sausage piccata there's no need to worry about that, plus it's cheap. Some fish sausages are mixed with cheese, so if you buy that type you don't need to add it.Anyway, this is a very simple dish and great for your lunch box. It's great if you have flour but if you don't then don't worry about it!You'll just notice the batter sticking to the fish sausage a little less. After you've cooked the sausage once, the batter may peel off easily, so dip it gently the second time. You can use normal, longer fish sausages for this recipe but the taste and texture will be a little different. Fried White Flounder for Bento Fried White Flounder for Bento
When you think of bento, you think of something that's heavy with meat, but not so much of fish. So I decided to make easy-to-eat fish fries for my child. When you are cooking this for a bento, try to not cut them after frying because they tend to fall apart. Instead, cook them in smaller chunks so that they fit into the bento box.Try enjoying this with some Japanese-style Worcestershire sauce, etc. This also goes well with mentsuyu and mayonnaise.Of course, you can also eat this fresh out of the fryer.
