The Flavors of the Seto Inland Sea - Mackerel with Miso-Mayo in a Bento Box

I created this recipe in hopes that my children who don't care for fish would like it.
Simply top with sauce and broil. It's very easy to make even on busy mornings.
Cooking mackerel in a toaster oven makes it light and fluffy.

Remove the bones from the fish and cut into bite-sized pieces.

Place on a heat-resistant plate and top with a mixture of blended miso and mayonnaise. Broil for 10 minutes in a toaster oven. (This photo shows two servings.)

When it's finished, serve with greens (like mizuna greens) for a colorful presentation.
