Ingredients

  1. 5medium Potato (pre boil)
  2. 3 tbspchopped Coriander
  3. 1 tsproasted Cumin powder
  4. 1 tspSalt
  5. 1.5 tspMustard Oil
  6. 3green chilli (finely chopped)
  7. 3 tbspGram Flour (Besan)
  8. 2 tbspRice Flour
  9. 3/4 tspred chilli powder

    Mash boiled potatato, into this add cumin powder, green chilli, salt, chopped Coriander, 1.5 tsp Mustard oil and mix gently.

    Make a medium slurry of Besan + Rice flour + red chilli powder, 1/2 tsp Salt with sufficient water. A thick yet dropping consistency of batter is required.

    Pinch medium portion of Potato mixture and give shape of Tikki.

    Heat sufficient Oil in kadhai, put oil to medium heat, dip each Tikki in the batter and make sure it is well coated. then drop Tikkis one by one and deep fry till golden brown.

    Fry well from all sides till it is crisp and golden brown.
    Tikki is done.

    Sprinkle Rock salt and serve hot hot. Garnish with Coriander and serve.
