Mava Gujiya

Gujiya is a classic North Indian sweet of crisp, flaky pastry filled with khoya (milk solids) and nuts stuffing. Today I made mava (khoya) out of milk powder.
Here, in Gujarat also we cook the same but known as Ghughra. It's the main recipe during Holi and Diwali and is cooked in every house.

Gulab Jamun (Traditional Recipe) Gulab Jamun (Traditional Recipe)
For Holi, I made gulab jamun using khoya and chhena. The taste of gulab jamun made with khoya and chhena is truly excellent. While there are many ways to make gulab jamun, the traditional method uses khoya and chhena. In shortcuts, we might use milk powder and other methods, but the taste of traditionally made gulab jamun is unmatched. This Holi, let's make delicious and melt-in-your-mouth gulab jamun using the traditional method. Ruchi AgrawalTranslated from Cookpad India -
Malpua Malpua
In Bihar, there's a saying: "Holi wa pua kha," meaning malpua is the main dish for Holi. These days, we often buy a variety of sweets and snacks from the market for festivals, but celebrations feel incomplete without traditional dishes. That's why I always make malpua for Holi, and both my family and guests enjoy it. I hope you try my recipe and share malpua with your loved ones. ~Sushma Mishra Home ChefTranslated from Cookpad India -

Mishti Singara: Sweet Samosas Stuffed with Kheer and Khoya Mishti Singara: Sweet Samosas Stuffed with Kheer and Khoya
While traditional samosa or singara (that's what we Bengalis call it) are filled with a spicy potato filling, this one comes with a sweet filling made of reduced milk, milk solids and semolina, laced in sticky sugar syrup. The filling can also be made of chhana or cottage cheese, but I like the kheer version more. The given proportion yields around 40 small samosas or 30 large ones.See more on my blog post here: http://www.allthatsdelicious.com/mishti-singara-recipe Lets Talk Food -
