Ingredients

  1. 1 bowlboiled Kala chana/chickpea
  2. 3 tbspfinely chopped tomato
  3. 3 tbspfinely chopped carrot
  4. 3 tbspfinely chopped cucumber
  5. 3 tbspfinely chopped fresh coriander
  6. 3 tbspfinely chopped beetroot
  7. 1less hot green chilli, finely chopped
  8. For Dressing Spices
  9. 1 tspsalt
  10. 1 tspblack salt
  11. 1 tspcrushed peppercorn
  12. 1 tsproasted Cumin powder
  13. 1 tspchat Masala
  14. 3 tbspolive oil
  15. 2 tbspmustard sauce
  16. 1 tbsplemon juice
  17. For Fresh Juice
  18. 3large Oranges
  19. Water as required

Cooking Instructions

    Soak the Kala Chana overnight then pressure cook with four whistles adding 1/2 tsp of salt with 1/2 a litre of water. Finely chop all the veggies and keep the spices ready.

    Now Make a dressing.. add Olive oil in a mixing bowl. Add all the spices along with lemon juice and mustard sauce. Shake well till everything merges well.

    Take boiled Kala Chana in a bowl. Add all the veggies. Now add oil mixture in the veggie mix and toss with the spoon, mix well.

    Protein rich Kala Chana with veggies breakfast is ready. Serve in a Bowl. Fill the fresh orange juice glass and serve Chilled. Enjoy Yummy kala chana breakfast..
