Cooking Instructions

10 mins
  1. 1

Heat the oil to 300°F. I use a deep fryer for more even cooking.

  2. 2

Once you open your can of biscuits, cut them into four equal pieces. I cut them like a pie.

  3. 3

Once you've cut all your donuts, drop them easily into the oil one at a time, try to avoid over crowding. Also, drop donuts from close to the oil surface to avoid splashing yourself with the hot oil.

  4. 4

They will cook for about 5-7 min. Halfway through cooking flip the donuts. They will float and need to be turned over to insure cooking thoroughly. Your donuts are done when they are a golden brown on both sides.

  5. 5

I enjoy rolling my donuts in sugar and local honey that I melt together on the stove. Easier ingredients are powdered sugar, brown sugar, sugar, or even honey without any cooking allows for the kids to get involved. Be creative

  6. 6

I have recently thought of using peanut butter, or nutella. Only not sure how yet to pull that off. Any ideas are welcome.... ;-)
