Ingredients

8 servings
  1. 12 clovegarlic,peeled and crushed
  2. 1 tbspolive oil
  3. 1 tbspmelted butter
  4. 1 smallonion, chopped
  5. 15 mlrose wine
  6. 1 litergood vegetables stock
  7. 100 gramsmushrooms chopped
  8. 175 gramscanned lentils (I use puy)
  9. 1 tbspfresh parsley chopped
  10. 1 pinchcayenne pepper
  11. 4 slicebread for croutons
  12. 3 tbspplain flour

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Crush the garlic and chop onion finely, melt butter and genfly cook until soft do not brown. Add flour and cook for two minutes over low heat stir in the wine and the stock. the mushrooms and lentils. Simmer for 30 minutes. take of heat and blend until smooth.

    sprinkle in the chopped parsley and season with cayenne pepper

    cube bread , fry until golden brown,toss in garlic salt, set aside

  4. 4

    saute a few slices of mushrooms and garlic and sprinkle over soup with croutons to garnish

Pretty good. A little pinch of cayenne goes a long way.
