Mascarpone and Tomato Pasta Mascarpone and Tomato Pasta
This pasta was inspired by a chef's recipe I saw on TV. I tried out lots of tomato sauce recipes and after a bit of experimenting came up with this one! My kids ask me to make this all the time! Some notes: You can make this with dried pasta but the sauce will mix better with fresh. You can use sliced bacon but if you want something more authentic, use block bacon. Also, you substitute heavy cream for the milk for more richness, and the honey for sugar if you prefer. Pasta Genova with Cream Sauce Pasta Genova with Cream Sauce
I love Genovese sauce, and when I turned the genova sauce that I always stock in my fridge into a cream sauce, it became a sauce perfect for pasta and fish.Adding the garlic and oil to the pan before turning on the heat in step 2 will help prevent the garlic from burning.Constantly stir when adding and simmering the milk in step 5 to keep it from sticking to the pan. When bubbles start forming around the edges after 10 minutes, it is done. Simple Pasta Carbonara Simple Pasta Carbonara
Aiming for a healthier but rich pasta carbonara, I've been researching measurements that use less cream. For the pasta, make sure to minus 1 minute from the cooking time indicated on the package. This is because it will be heated again when combined with bacon From step 3 onwards, I recommend you remove it from the heat because the egg mixture will dry-up when it's heated too much. If you prefer a thinner sauce, add 50 ml of cooking water from the pasta at step 3. For 2 servings. Recipe by Bi-jo cookpad.japan -
