Cooking Instructions

Combine sugar, butter, and water in heavy saucepan. Cook to 300°, or hard crack stage, stirring constantly.

Add vanilla. Pour into buttered 9x9x1 1/2" pan. Cool 5 minutes.

Break chocolate bar in pieces; sprinkle over top. Spread as it melts. Sprinkle with nuts, pressing them lightly into chocolate. Cool; break into pieces.

Makes 24 to 36 pieces.
