Slow Cooker chicken and dumplings

This is my go to busy mom recipe... My family loves it...and my daughter loves helping by tearing the "dumplings"

Ingredients

  1. Slow cooker
  2. 2skinless boneless chicken breasts
  3. 2 cancream of chicken soup
  4. 1 canlarge can of chicken broth
  5. 2 canrefrigerated biscuits

Cooking Instructions

    Place 2 frozen skinless boneless chicken breasts in slow cooker

  2. 2

    Mix soups and broth and pour over chicken

  3. 3

    Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours until chicken can be shredded with spoon

  4. 4

    Take each biscuit and tear it into four pieces. Submerge each "dumpling" on the slow cooker liquid. Cook 1.5 to 2 hours until "dumplings" are cooked through (no longer doughy)

Just finished shredding chicken. Smells divine! Havent put the dumplings on yet.....however,I would either add another chicken breast or use one less can of broth. Seems kind of soupy,maybe dumplings will help,I even added frozen carrots and pearl onions.
