I was craving for grilled porkchops one evening, but didn't have the time and energy to do it. So instead, I seasoned the porkchops with my fave herbs and some paprika (for color and spice) and cooked it slowly but surely!
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Rub each porkchop with pinch amounts of salt, pepper, sage and paprika.
- 2
Add olive oil to pan and turn to low heat. The trick to making juicy pork chops is to cook them in low heat and in a short amount of time on each side.
- 3
Lay down your first batch of pork chops. Cook for 2-3 minutes and flip over. Cook the flipped over side for another 2-3 minutes.
- 4
Once the pork chop is in a lovely brown color, incline them on the side of the pan. Make sure that the fat is at the lower end. This method ensures that you get a well cooked fat, otherwise it will be rubbery. Cook each side in this position for 2-3 minutes.
- 5
Repeat the same steps for all porkchops.

I had half an onion left over, so I tried adding it and it was delicious.Be sure to grate the onion against the grain. If you don't it'll become salty.Once you've added the flavoring give it a quick mix and turn off the heat. If you heat for too long the meat will become tough.Throw away any water that comes from grating the onion. Recipe by Madon cookpad.japan -
