I had half an onion left over, so I tried adding it and it was delicious.

Be sure to grate the onion against the grain. If you don't it'll become salty.
Once you've added the flavoring give it a quick mix and turn off the heat. If you heat for too long the meat will become tough.

Ingredients

  1. 250to 300 grams Pork loin (for pan-fried pork with ginger)
  2. 1/2Onion
  3. 1Katakuriko
  4. Combined flavoring ingredients:
  5. 1■Ginger (grated)
  6. 3 tbsp■Soy sauce
  7. 3 tbsp■Mirin
  8. 3 tbsp■Sake
  9. 1/2Grated onion (against the grain)

Cooking Instructions

    Coat the pork loin with a suitable amount of katakuriko and set aside.

    Create the flavoring from the ■ ingredients and set aside (Be sure to grate the onion against the grain.)

    Add oil (not listed) to a pan and lightly heat the onions. Once they've become slightly transparent, transfer to a separate plate and set aside.

    In the same pan, add more oil and fry both sides of the pork.

    Once the pork has fried, add the onions you put on a separate plate, and the ■ flavoring. Once you've mixed everything together it's complete.
