Ingredients

  1. 2 lbGround beef or beef stew meat
  2. 1 largeOnion (I use sweet)
  3. 1 largeGreen bell pepper
  4. 3 cloveGarlic - minced
  5. 2 can8 ounce tomato sauce
  6. 1 can6 ounce tomato paste
  7. 1 can14.5 ounce diced tomatoes
  8. 8 ozMedium salsa
  9. 2 canBeer (I prefer Heineken)
  10. 2 can15 ounce Kidney Beans
  11. 4 tbspChili Seasoning Mix (see my recipe)
  12. 1 tspGround black pepper
  13. 1 tspCayenne pepper

Cooking Instructions

    Brown ground beef/beef stew meat in a large pot and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder

  2. 2

    While browning meat: in another pan heat olive oil (about 2 teaspoons) and add diced green pepper and diced onion. Cook until translucent and then add garlic, cook another 2 minutes. Add to ground beef/beef stew meat pot.

    Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil and then turn down the heat to a simmer or transfer to a crockpot.

    The longer it cooks the better it is!!!

    Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and onions. Or whatever is your favorite. ENJOY!!!
