Ingredients

  1. 100 gramsbutter or margarine
  2. 2eggs
  3. 300 mlcaster sugar
  4. 150 mlregular flour
  5. 4 tbspcacao powder
  6. 1 tspvanilla extract
  7. 50 gramschocolate
  8. 1vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving
  9. 1A dash of salt
  10. 1icing sugar to dust

    Melt the butter in a pan. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate in chunks or roughly chopped.

    Combine the eggs and the sugar.

    Combine the dry ingredients with the eggs and the sugar. Then mix in the chocolate and butter mixture.

    Line a springform pan with parchment paper, and pour in your batter.

    Bake for 15-20 min at 170°F celsius (338 F). When you stick through a skewer it should come up dry.

    Let your cake cool and remove it from the springform pan. Dust with icing sugar and serve with ice cream or whipped cream!
