Ingredients

  1. 1 kgsunrise basmati rice
  2. 800 gmeat
  3. 2 tbspnginger n garlic paste
  4. 3 tbspnpilau masala
  5. 2large onions thinly sliced
  6. 1 cupkcc mala
  7. 5large tomatoes
  8. Oil for frying
  9. to tasteSalt
  10. Tomatoes paste
  11. Dashegg yellow food colour

Cooking Instructions

    Blend tomatoes

    Boil meat with salt

  3. 3

    Heat oil,fry onions till golden brown

  4. 4

    Add in garlic n ginger,stir n add in pilau masala

  5. 5

    Add in meat,Tomato puree,tomato paste,salt,let it cook until it makes a thick consistency.

    Add in mala,let it continue cooking for like 5min.

    Wash rice,convert into cup n double the size of water.add salt n oil.bring to boil,wen the rice is well cooked,mix the food colour into water n sprinkle the coloured water into the rice in any pattern.cover ur rice the Swahili way (take a lid cover the rice the put hot charcoal on the lid,for 10min).

    Ready to serve with kachumbari n a glass of cold juice n banana.
