Cooking Instructions

Put the boiled beans in your cooking pot

Cut the onion and tomato in small round slices on top of the beans

Sprinkle the smashed garlic and ginger on top
- 4
And turmeric powder and salt

Pour the coconut milk in and put it on your stove to cook till the tomato is well cooked

If you're using fresh coconut, squeeze out the the thick milk out of the coconut using 1/4 cup of warm water use a sieve to separate coconut milk from the flesh and put it aside in a smaller pot

Then with 3/4 cup of warm water squeeze out some more milk

And the lighter coconut milk in the beans pot and put it on your stove to cook till tomato is well cooked and remove from stove

Put the small pot of thick coconut milk on the stove and stir it slowly until it boils into a thicker cream this will take 3 minutes

Remove from stove and pour it on top of your beans.

You can serve this with rice, ugali, chapati or mahamri
