Combination of three super grains, flavoured with deliciously sweet and iron-rich dates, fiber and protein rich almonds, cashews, the Jowar, wheat and Ragi Porridge is a wholesome food that will keep the child satisfied and active whole day.
This is rich in essential nutrients like iron, protein, magnatium, carbohydrates, calcium, minerals and fiber, vitamin e, vitamin a and so on. This porridge is so sweet and tasty too. To prepare this we have to use more water to get digested well. I used to give my kid from her 6th month to 1 yr. Later I used some lentils like green gram, soya and so on to make powder. And kept in airtight jar for a month. Every monthly once prepared freshly.

Ingredients

  1. 2 tspRagi
  2. 1 tspWheat
  3. 1 tspJowar
  4. 1 pinchSalt
  5. 2 tspJaggery syrup
  6. 1/4 tspCardamom powder
  7. 1/8 tspJaphal powder
  8. 2Almond
  9. 2Cashews
  10. 3Pistachios
  11. 1Dates seedless
  12. 2 tspGrated coconut
  13. 2 cupWater

Cooking Instructions

    Wash and soak in clean water ragi, jowar, wheat, almond and cashews overnight or minimum 2 hours.

    Drain the water and blend them smoothly by adding 2 tsp grated coconut, dates, pistachios and sufficient water.

    Blend smoothly.

    Strain it.

    Add sufficient water. I used 2 cups of water.

    Add Jaggery syrup, Salt, cardamom powder.

  7. 7

    Mix well and cook in low flame by sauteing continuously.

    It takes ten minutes, to become thick.

    Take off the flame and allow it to warm and serve in bowl.
